We have golfed TL a number of times this year. And what started out as a positive has quickly gone down hill. They have to stop with holding carts until 10 minutes before tee time - it has happened to us twice and two other friends. They haul you out to the driving range - which is a hike and then don’t come back. So the walk back hauling your clubs is really irritating. When we call the office the response we got was along the lines of, ‘They said to call us? We can’t help you.” Upon walking back we got a shoulder shrug. Our other worry is the condition of the greens as the season goes on. They are going down hill. What we thought was a rebound seems to be having issues. The rate with a players card is $85 and they are busy, but the rate isn’t going to keep people coming back. Based on our early season play we were recommending, the recommendations have stopped because our golf peeps are getting cranking with us.

I don't understand the horrible reviews. This course must have been updated or under new management/ownership.

The North course is very manicured and pristine. The greens are challenging and a tough round for the average weekend player. The course has been busy and attracts an international clientele with golf schools and stay-and-play combos.

The South course is more natural, fitting in with the desert landscape, so the wasteland of sand, weeds, and scrub brush comes into play if you go outside of the browned out grass. That must be what people are complaining about.

The facility only has a grill, not a restaurant at this time. The driving range is about a quarter mile away from the pro shop, so not convenient. The practice facilities are oriented towards the golf schools and people who are playing the course, not visitors.

Both courses are in very good condition - fairways and greens together. So much of the North course is cart path only that the playing time is achingly slow. It took us 4-1/2 hours to play and we weren’t waiting on the players ahead of us at all. But if you see a tee time at a price you like, you won’t be sorry.

For background I have played this course many times over the past fifteen years and looked forward to it. At present the best you could say for the staff taking your bag is they were disinterested and you were an annoyance in their day. The course itself is in really rough shape. The fairways are poorly kept, bunkers are overgrown with grass and have a reasonable helping of stones as well. It is clear the new ownership group has little desire to spend money on the maintenance of this course. This is by far the worst course I have played in the Palm Springs area ever. The group I played with has played there many times (think over 50) in the past ten years and from our experience on February 12, 2023 will not come back and have canceled all future tee times. If you could pay $20/round you might consider it but may not find it worth it.

Our group of 8, two foursome, actually four couples golf trip from Toronto to Palm Springs to celebrate wife’s 60 th birthday was ended at quite dissapoinment. It was not because of golf course but because of marshals unacceptable behavior.
We played 8 different courses around and this was the last course at teed off at 10:04 and 10:12 at North course while staying at Palm Springs. We all enjoyed the weather and nice courses around except this one.

Even we were playing at a required pace, Marshal approached us and kept pushed to catch the group ahead because there were two holes open and received complained by the group behind, they were threesome, obviously faster than 4some.
Our wives and we were so stressed out there. We have played more than 30 years golf and knew the rules. Two marshals, one after another, kept pushed us play faster.
We completed the round 4 hours and 20 minutes.
Some times we are playing fast and sometimes we might be playing a little bit slow.
We were all average bougy players.

Our group of friend complained to the club house eventually after completing and club house staff said sorry.
That does not help at all.

Marshal’s duty is not pushing and spoiling the someone’s vacation, but to help.
I hope club manager should respond to this.

Recent experience golf trip Palmspring, I recommend you not to put it on the list of golf to play. The land is not manicurer, the gentleman at the reception is really stupid ( did not even bother to take my voucher telling me in a condescending tone. What the name and wrote me on a piece of paper with a pencil our package to give to the attendant who also seemed overwhelmed by events. Bygone design... I can compare since we have played 5 other remarkable as well maintained terrain with kind and helpful staff. ( rancho mirage , 3 pga west, desert willow)

Worst customer service in Palm Springs area.
They damaged my driver while they moved from front to golf cart. Found out at first tee to ruin my Palm Springs vacation on the first day.

At first, they promised to "repair" then "replace the shaft" then "will send a shaft by mail". Requested them to replace same of similar kind (Tour AD) and ask to get my nod before sending assuming from their attitude they would send a cheapy.

3 days later I went to their office to check the procedures to hear they would not do anything to cover my loss. General mgr, Casey Kim, mentioned the floor mgr, Brian, told me a lie. Casey Kim totally ignored the note Brian wrote "to replace the shaft".

Please don't go there if you can, in case you go there make sure you move your stuff yourself, they handle things roughly.

Both of these courses are in terrible shape and they want 75 dollars to play them. Total garbage. They have very bad greens that are not cut properly and not even watered well enough to hold a shot. The bunkers are horrific and the fairways just average. The chaparral is horrible because it is all dead. Whoever has control of these golf courses is not putting any money into the upkeep and they are ripping people off for way more money than they are worth.

Great piece of ground for golf Rolling hills, nice scenery, Course in ok shape, just ok, nothing more nor less. Who was this course built for? Long. All greens save one or two raised with large deep traps guarding one side, and steep fall offs on the other. One could miss the green by 2 yards and end up 40 yards down hill

Not for the resort golfer, maybe for the very good golfer. Staff ok friendly

Actually very nice track, the layout is challenging and features unique holes. The fairways are in terrible shape, bunkers filled with grass. No marshal on course only a started. Way overpriced for the conditions can not recommend play elsewhere!
