This is a course that is good for those with high or low handicaps. The fairways are fair in their width, so if you are hitting reasonable shots, you can be in the mix. For those that like to go for it, you will definitely be challenged, and you just may lose a few balls. Have played with friends, with... More

Fairly tight Fairways. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Lots of Fairway and green bunkering. The only drawback was the fairways being so close to the houses.

Your business isn't wanted or needed here--they make that abundantly clear. I had thought golf was a game of good manners & sportsmanship. Had e-mailed twice to confirm lesson; pro didn't show up due to a.m. sprinkles (it cleared at least an hour or so before). I was told pro will not let you know if cancelled. Maybe they have... More

Breakfast is tasty here. The patio is beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. Full bar to kick off your day with a bloody Mary or other favorite.

Nicely designed Tom Fazio Course that is constructed to more forgiving. Most of the fairways slope toward the middle. The length is manageable for your bogie-players. Costs is a little high but it is expected being in yuppie-Irvine.

Did not go to cafe so I can not comment on service, quality of food, etc. The golf was just what I ordered. Course was in very good shape though the bunkers were hard packed. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Though not well advertised, a "senior" rate is available if you tee off before 9 AM. Practice area was... More

Beautiful Golf Course. Beautiful View. Finding a parking space is challenging, but not as challenging as trying to get good service from the café. My first visit last year was special. I ordered soup and 1/2 club sandwich. Though we were indoors, the flies tasted my sandwich before me. The flies were busy that day enjoying my food and another... More

A group of us went to Oak Creek Golf Club for a get together in June, 2015. There was a big event going on that morning, so we weren't allowed to sit outside like we wanted. The food was ok, but not as generous as we anticipated. We were here because a couple of friends told us that it was... More

Oak Creek is no Augusta but it does offer a fair test of golf. The fairways are reasonably receptive to drives but one has to be very careful with the very well placed bunkers. The course was in good shape with the greens firm. The pace of play was very good coming in at less than four hours. Not bad... More

There are good things about this course. It is well laid out, and there are some interesting holes. The fairways are adequate. That said, on balance there are a lot better courses than this overpriced track. PRICE: On a weekday at 10:30 in the morning we paid $135 per round. I can afford that, but I expect the course to...
