This is a first-rate venue located in the heart of the UC Irvine campus. The staff here is extremely friendly, helpful. I have traveled to many venues with various musicians and most venues don't treat you very well. The theater itself is beautiful and well kept, in fact its spotless and its the perfect place to listen to music.

Need to see The Nutcracker? This is the place to see it. Not a bad seat in the house, affordable ticket prices, easy parking, helpful theater staff. All that and an impressive production of The Nutcracker! I enjoy taking children to this particular performance of The Nutcracker as the part for children are always played by children. What a wonderful... More

This Halloween, my niece and I attended a Live Feed broadcast of the play Frankenstein in the Irvine Barclay Theatre in Irvine, CA. We got there about 30 minutes before the show began (as was recommended) and had wonderful seats. The play was being performed in London, England and beamed in HD to the theatre. It was a fantastic experience... More

Have been there for several shows, and pleased with the venue every time. It's beautiful, with comfortable seats, good sight lines, and good acoustics. Only complaint is the $10 parking garage fee!

It could be a great outing if a current event is of any interest to you. Check the calendar. The theater feels very intimate while providing great sight and sound of a performance on stage.

I've seen a few shows here, and have always enjoyed the Barclay. I've seen a couple of jazz shows here and the acoustics are terrific. A lowdown on the building and area. It's a nice, clean, beautiful building that is on the campus of UC Irvine. You park in a big structure a short walk from the venue. The walk... More

Enjoyed the play "The Screwtape Letters" immensely. Seating was comfortable and the wine bar prior to the play is a great idea. Will be returning in April for Dennis Miller and after that who knows. Very nice place to enjoy an evening.

They bring really good culture to Irvine. Close parking. Nice facility. UCI center across the street if you want to catch a bite before or after.

I have seen so many great performances here...interesting speakers, comedians and dancers. You can see the performances from the seats, and it still has an intimacy, and is not too big. I recommend this venue.
