This was a great view of the rugged California Pacific coastline at its best! Pristine beaches surrounded by monolithic rocks jutting here and there. Wish would wold have had more time...

We have visited the northern CA coastline numerous times and we never cease to be awestruck by its beauty, it primitiveness and how it superbly shows us the power of nature.

Wonderful views. Our favorite spot along the coast here that we saw! If you get here on a clear day it is so much better to get a great view.

Excellent views, and a fabulous destination driving up or down the coast to San Francisco. Stop by the Rivers End for a glass of wine and decent lunch,

A bit chilly and windy. The ocean wild and we saw whales. Great place to hike and just stroll around. Wear good walking shoes and sun screen.

The Highlands are spectacular for the views of the shoreline, the rock formations and the sea. Too bad you cannot help but have to deal with the town and all its tourist shops and other junk. Plow through all that and travel to the end...More
