I've been going here since I was a kid and I am glad to say that Lake Cuyamaca water level is up which makes it super fun for the motor boat and fishing.

We enjoyed the scenic views of Lake Cuyamaca, There is a restaurant there with lake views. We visited on a spring sunny day.

Enjoying a weekend staycation in Julian, we decided to have breakfast in nearby Cuyamaca. Worth the short drive. Despite the weather, the view was relaxing. The food at the Cuyamaca Restaurant was well prepared and good comfort food.

I was driving through the Cuyamaca Ranch State Park and at the end essentially stumbled upon this lake with a nice family style restaurant. Gives a nice vibe for the area. Quite dead when I went but it's January so that's expected.

A great spot to stop for photo opportunities before or after a trip to Julian. While it is not very green in January, it is nonetheless lovely with a variety of colors in the remaining tree leaves.

Attended the annual kids fishing tournament. Camped out for the weekend. Excellent car camping site. Hookups and bathrooms/coin showers if needed. Great event. Staff at the tackle shop and restaurant are friendly, professional, and welcoming!! Will return again for sure. Awesome place. Highly recommended!!!
