Got out of San Diego for the day and went to Julian. This place has a great small town feel. Nice atmosphere and good wine. And a dog to keep you company while you sit outside and enjoy your wine.

Dropped by for a glass of their matchless Merlot, had a nice discussion and bought a bottle to take home. Their Merlot is the best I've ever had, and they remembered us from our previous visit, even though it was months ago!

Simple tasting room with a very friendly and acknowledgeable hostess. The wine was very good. $10 for 6 tastings or $14 to keep the glass. Which I did. Will enjoy using it in MN. The Syrah 2012 was my favorite but all were worth taking...More
