The beach is ok a lot of things being pulled down so was a bit messy but would be good when finished.

Located in the heart of Sihanoukville, Serendipity Beach has very little to offer except a line of dirty old restaurants rented by ex Pat foreigners who don't seem to care. There are lots of beggars around that are very beach savvy, so watch your stuff. There are young children who can pick your pocket in few seconds and young girls... More

But you can't really lay back and relax because you're always asked to buy stuff or to spare a dollar. Fair enough, those people just try to survive but I can't enjoy a sunny day on a good beach when I need to justify myself every five minutes. The nightlife offers great deals on beers and booze but as this... More

Although this beach can be picturesque in the early morning, as the day progresses it becomes crowded with people as well as merchants trying to sell you things. I'd recommend the short ride to otres beach for a quieter more relaxing beach day.

Serendipity is changing, all the beach bars are being knocked down, (still a few standing at the moment but will go) all are being moved back 50 metres from the main pier all the way (many kilometres) to the end of Otres. The large area behind the bars has been levelled and massive building projects underway with many to come.... More

It once was a very beautiful and nice beach but now it's dirty and I would not recommend you to swim there. A lot of people are trying to sell you massages and bracelets etc. There are no longer sun beds or sun chairs because the government have done it illegal. I only go here to catch the boat out... The Serendipity beach is full of restaurants with disgusting, old fat men hanging with really young girls. Yuck! An it's impossible to walk there since somebody is all the time bothering you by selling you something, trying to throw you in to the restaurant etc. We walked there twice and always it looked like a picture of Pattaya! Couldn't eat... More

Covered in garbage and beggars. Smells horrible and flies are always hovering around you. Don't go to this beach (or even Sihanoukville from what I could tell) everything is over priced for foreigners, I saw a lady buy food for 500 reill (their money) when we were charged 12,000. Good luck haggling, they have a cartel. Everyone sells the same... More
