I met some friends at Karuizawa station & they took care of getting on the right bus and the fair. So I apologize in advance, for not knowing this part. I think it was at least a 20 min. bus right up. You go through...More

This place is not big, but indeed amazed me greatly. The formation of this geologically unique structure is made even more fascinating by it vegetation above it. You can always see scenery of different colors in different seasons. I highly recommend my friends to visit...More

Amazing and beautiful site to behold. Though it's not an extremely huge waterfall, it's very picturesque!

If you visit only one waterfall in Japan, make it this one. We're glad to have headed to Shiraito Falls after our skiing activities. If it's a sunny afternoon, you can count on there being a crowd around the Shiraito Falls. We went on a...More

Took the bus ride from KyuKaruizawa. The bus ride to Shiraito Falls took about 15 minutes. Ask around for the bus schedule to make sure to catch the right timing. Arrived at the Shiraito bus stop and walked towards the falls. One can never miss...More

Apart from the waterfall, there isn’t much there and if you miss one bus, it’s a long wait until the next one! I know from experience! But the waterfall itself is beautiful! I’m glad I made the effort to go and see it!

It is an easy walk up a slight hill (unless you are in winter when it is icy) to a pleasant spot. It can be full of tourists, which can make it quite, meh. The water comes out of the volcano, so it is warm...More

Although you need to take 20 mins bus from karuizawa to there, you have to visit there! It’s so beautiful and amazing! A bit regret that I didn’t wear appropriate shoes to get there, otherwise I would walk along the small path and spend more...More

One of the sightseeing spots that you must go when you visit Karuizawa. Though it is small, it shows different colors due to the sunlight. Beautiful!

Don't know about the bus stop over, but when I was there I didn't see any storage lockers for luggage and the way things are set up there, it will be difficult to put the luggage anywhere

It is a very short walk from the parking lot to the falls...no steps. The walk is easy with only a slight incline. Don't go in the Winter though....lots of ice and snow.
