If you leave the 101 shortly after passing the bridge over the Klamath river in the northern direction, you can go and see a redwood tree with a hole in it that you can drive through (if the car is small enough). An interesting experience...More

We took the jet boat tour up river. It was lots of fun, entertaining and the captain had lots of local history and information. We saw lots of wildlife and accessed an area we would not have seen otherwise.

Stayed at Kamp Klamath. Excellent Saturday night salmon and chicken bbq with great folk band! Nice campsite, friendly people, great food and music. Only drawback was limited bathroom facilities, but did have free showers.

did a day fishing in a boat on this river, most of the property along the river is private, fishing from a boat is the only to do any good. we went 12 miles up from the coast, my wife caught a 15 lb. salmon....More

Klamath River is a beautiful spot, stop and take in the Vistas. There are plenty of trails in the area.

From 101take the Requa Rd exit. It's a narrow winding road to the top, but what a view. This is a great place for whale watching and if no whales there are picnic tables for a picnic.

Cool views and good access. I saw boats and stuff out on the river. We just took pics and admired the views. The river rides don't go year round.

Went whale watching at the mouth of the river. Didn't get the see the Orca's we heard about, but did see several Calif Gray Whales.
