We rented kayaks and did our own thing. You can't go into the caves unless you are with a tour guide, but it was still absolutely amazing! The water was PERFECT and so clear! LOVE IT!

Worth seeing this part of the coastline, and paying the $5 or so to go down to see the sea cave. Beautiful rugged coastline with the exposed rocky cliffs.

Rent kayaks and paddle out to see the caves. Lots of birds/sea lions hanging around. If you don't have time, they are still great to see from above. There are several free viewing locations, but you can also pay to walk down into the cave...More

Waves were crashing against the caves and seals and sea lions were all laying around. We got up close and personal with them. I recommend you take a jacket if you go toward evening.

A quick 5 dollars gets you down to a well loved spot on the La Jolla Beach. You walk down two flights of stairs and you come to a lovely view of the ocean against the framework of the caves.

The Sea lions are an amazing site. They are located on the rocks and you can either see them from the road or walk down and enjoy their company.

I checked out the caves during our visit to La Jolla, sea caves are mesmerizing and these did not disappoint. I watched for nearly an hour as the waves crashed and the water wooshed in and out of the caves.
