If you're a local San Diegan or even visiting, strolling around UCSD campus is well worth the effort. There is plenty of interesting architecture and the lots of events here that are very worthy of your time. Check out the historic Che Cafe as it may close at any time and is an iconic cultural and music place in San... More

I live in San Diego (LaJolla) and this school has an excellent reputation. Great for an education in the sciences and a beautiful campus. Come take a walk around, you'll be impressed.

What a joy for students to study in this powerhouse UC campus by the sea. The sciences are particularly exemplary, the campus beauty makes the spirit soar.

Not a student. Family and I were staying at the nearby Estancia Resort & Spa. Heard through grapevine that there was some spectacular architecture to be seen at UCSD. Took my boys to see the Fallen Star (house on top of Jacobs Hall Engineering Building. Unfortunately, missed the Guided Tour time. But there are tours Tuesday and Thursdays from 11am... More

I worked at UCSD for 23 years. It was a great place to work. The environment for learning is exceptional and it's in a great location. They are excellent for engineering and health sciences. Their medical school is top notch. I've heard many urban legends about UCSD, non of which I have found to be true (i.e., the medical school... More

For a relatively young university, UCSD has a lot of fun and interesting architecture and history. Our tour guide, Andrew, was fantastic in bringing it all to life. The college system is fairly unique to UCSD and the Geisel Library (named for the real Dr. Seuss, who used to like it here) is just what you would expect

Just kidding! This campus in my opinion is the most beautiful of the UC System. Rolling Hills, huge trees and near the ocean. We were there for a soccer game - the facilities were outstanding.

Not being biased, but beautiful Campus. The Library is literally out of this World and beautiful sculpture of Thedir Geisel. Crazy Dorms with Ocean views from higher floors
