This is a superb spot to just enjoy nature if you can catch it on a chilly and windy day like we did. Not a lot of people around and very fun outing.

We visited La Jolla Shores, Children's pool last week during Thanksgiving weekend, we see a lot of ( about 30-40) seals on Children's pool. They are adorable! Love this place!

Clean and fun. Parking is only available through out the neighborhood so make time and bring your patients. Life guards present and visible.

Nice clean beach. Body surfed the waves, fun spot. November is wetsuit weather for me. Water temperature about 63 degress to 65. Free parking. Bathrooms not bad for high use public bathroom, fairly clean. Good surf spot for beginners.

Try to avoid visiting on a weekend and arrange for transportation. Local roads here get very crowded. This is a lovely beach and offers plenty of space for lounging and relatively gentle waters for swimming.

Great views of the water and coast. We enjoyed the area with the exception of parking. Good shopping and restaurants too.

We have found this place in the list of the best spots to watch sunset in San Diego. A lot of surfers and the pier make sunset photos stunning. The place is not full of crowd, so you can take nice pictures here.

Breathtaking sunset last night, perfect end to our San Diego trip- after a long day at the Zoo- we cooled our tired feet in the surf and walked in the soft clean sand. Found some beautiful shells. Love this spot.

Ok, so at first it looked like just another beach...then I realized there was an extensive hiking network in the hills adjacent to the park that are amazing with views that rival any in the region! If you are a cyclist and do not mind hill climbing on pavement this is for you also...lots of cycling is available. The beach... More
