On of my favorites is in Carlsbad CA (Calavera Nature Preserve, 4028 Peninsula Dr, Carlsbad, CA 92010) This area has some beautiful trail rides that can accommodate the beginner rider and for the experts it has some mountain climbs that are some of the the best in the county. This area is also an amazing area to go hiking. Another... More

Our tour guide was wonderful. We learned so much about the history of the city and rode through some amazing neighborhood we would not have otherwise know of. I would definitely recommend this tour!

I'm visiting San Diego for the week on a solo trip and booked onto the sea cave kayak tour with HBK. They had limited time availability due to a big bike group going on the same day but were very upfront and polite about it. The tour was lead by Dawood, who was great group leader - entertaining and funny... More

I signed up for a kayak tour of La Jolla Caves, it was great, but it took the person that was renting me the digital camera about 20 minutes to figure out how it worked... a little frustrating. In hindsight I didn't need to rent the wetsuit and camera, none of the pictures turned out since I couldn't see what... More

Our guides Dawood and Courtney were great and informative! We saw seals, dolphins, barricuda, sharks, and other fish. We also got to go in a cave! It was a great time and definitely worth it!

My boyfriend and I took a vacation to San Diego late June this year and this was one of the coolest activities we did there! Being able to kayak in the ocean was amazing and the weather was great. Our tour guide was a hilarious San Diego native who made it that much better. The only downside was the water... More

Rented a wetsuit on 3 separate occasions. Easy rental process. Rented a full long suit for $14.00/day. Everywhere else was $33.00 Customer helpful and polite.

It's a fantastic experience - seeing wildlife is guaranteed. I recommend you go early in the morning - this is when crowds are smallest. You're given a kayak (either single or double), and are guided out into the open ocean, with fine views of La Jolla and the whole city from the water. You'll then be led over to the... More

I'm always leery when using a Groupon, as I fear the experience might be cheapened. The folks at Hike Bike Kayak put all my fears to rest with superior service, excellent communication and our guide Zane was spectacular. We booked the 90 minute double kayak trip for 4. Unfortunately my wife's fear of deep water could not be overcome and... More
