Top of the World ia beautiful oasis, a mile from down town. Yoy could quite leterally, get lost in the miles and miles of hiking trails, all different lengths and difficulties. Play tennis or pickleball, spend time in the park and fields, Watch the 360 vista from snow capped peaks, to looking down on Laguna Beach, to the sun setting over Catalina. The mountain bikers scream down the same trails, so keep an eye out

This is one of our top spots to take the kids mountain biking. The views cannot be beat and there are trails for every skill level. You can go to our YouTube channel to see videos of these awesome trails if you are looking to hit the trails!

We've been to Laguna Beach many times, but this was our first time seeing Top Of The World. We went at sunset time and I'd love to see it in the morning. Trail to walk or benches to sit, take your pick, just don't miss the view!

The park at Top of the World is a terrific place to explore the hiking trails between Laguna and Aliso Viejo... just watch out for the mountain bikers -- there are plenty sharing the trails.
Also amazing views of the coastline as well as the valleys and mountains

It is so serene in that space. Beautiful as you look out over the land and sky - hard to believe how so many houses can be stacked so closely together. The scale is so fascinating- the air seems so clean. Very much worth the trek to visit this space.

The drive through the residential neighborhood to the top was worth it alone. We are from the east coast, so we were fascinated by the style of houses that were hanging on the edge of cliffs for a beautiful view of the ocean. Once at the top there was a fantastic 360 view. The weather we had this time of year was perfect for hiking in the morning. There were so many options for trails. We chose a 3 mile hike since we walk 3 miles back home all the time. The steepness of this trail was much different than what we were used to. It was challenging but rewarding. Starting at the top, going, down and back up was probably the best because traversing the steep sles going down on tired wobbly legs is harder the more tired your muscles are. Highly recommend! !

This is great area to walk or hike in. Great if you want to exercise your dog or take a break from the crowds below in town. There are lots of trails for adventure biking and running. The views are wonderful of the Saddleback mountains as well as the Pacific Ocean. You can see a lot of Orange Country as well as the coastline to the north and south. Its a great place to watch fireworks on July 4th. There are public tennis courts, bathrooms basketball and soccer and baseball fields. The vibe is usually very friendly. There is also a wonderful park for children and equipment for them to climb on. The parking is limited to the street and Alta Laguna Park areas. Be respectful of the neighborhood, but its a neat place to walk and think about your life and enjoy some peaceful time way above Laguna Beach's busy town.

You have to get to the very top! Yes it take
a little hike, not really that bad and it's worth your while. It's also not too far from the parking lot at the Alta Laguna Park, 10-15 min max with leisurely pace, you won't be able to drive up as the road is blocked. From that vantage point, nearly 1000 feet above sea level, you are gonna be blown away by the unobstructed, panoramic, breath takingviews of the boundless Pacific Ocean, beautiful Laguna Beach, the magnificent California coastline, the entire Orange County, the Santa Ana Mountains and the San Gabriel Mountains. It's no wonder they named this place Top of the World. The drive up and down is also scenic.
