Easy (relatively flat) hike to Barbara's Lake where you may get lucky and spot the osprey. Good honor system parking lot and well marked paths. Recommend going in the morning when it's cool. We did a three mile loop and then headed out for a great lunch at Han's.

There are few places that bring serenity to a tangible level, but the Preserve does it naturally. Here I find the solitude necessary to decompress from the hectic world we live in! It's a 'must do' for anyone who values giving their inner spirit the space it craves to just "be one with Mother Nature". Open 7 days a week!

Great little spot tucked away in the Laguna Canyon. You never really get away from the noise of the traffic, but it is a lovely spot for some exercise.

The trail to Barbara's Lake is smooth and level but after that it climbs and will give some a challenge. The trail down was... More
