Main beach is so iconic and while it is very busy it still is worth the visit. Enjoy an extended walk to Heisler park with its fantastic views of main beach and the city beyond.

The beaches are really all connected so this is like an extension off Heisler Park. Sunsets are better closer to Heisler and Main Beach had a lot of panhandlers, people playing basketball and beach volleyball and had a less upscale feel.

Lots of people here at all times. From volleyball to swimming to surfing to a million other activities. More of a place to "see and be seen" than a place to relax. Close to restaurants but not much parking in the vicinity.

Main Beach is the "main" beach in town at the junction of PCH and Laguna Canyon Road. It is the iconic (maybe not the best) each in town but it is always a hub of activity. As a heads-up, we never-ever park around here. Our...More

Lovely beach. Not overcrowded. Not just sand but grass lawn and a basketball court. The view of the ocean in one direction and the City and mountains on the other. Best beach ever.

I tried to enjoy this great setting but had to dodge bums everywhere. Vacationing with wife, daughter and granddaughters spoiled . Can't anyone solve this problem? With the millions we give in taxes ?

Visited the North side of Laguna Beach for the first time. We wanted to visit Heisler Park, but the beach there looked like it had alot of stuff washed up on shore, so we visited the Main Beach instead. The water is very blue in...More

September is often the warmest month of the year. It will be amazing. Make sure your resort has air conditioning as a few of the older ones do not. If you are ocean front you wont need it with the breeze.

One of the busiest times of the year. If you are going to only be there for a few hours I'd suggest parking anywhere but there. Park a mile or two away and then take the free trolly. If you are limited with your walking... More
