“Best Barbera”
In 1970, Tim and Barbara St. Amant Spencer purchased 43 acres in the Jackson Valley of Amador County and decided to plant Zinfandel. As Tim began to fall in love with Port wine, he contacted UC Davis to see what Portuguese varieties were available...more

Very nice wines and experience. We were the only ones in the winery which was great as we had a 1:1 experience, discussion and overview about the wines. This is the experience you want in a winery vs the others that have very pretentious and...More

First visited St Amant probably 15 years ago and keep going back when in the Lodi area. They have several good wines and in my humble opinion, the best Barbera in the Lodi area. Visited recently and they said it had received a Gold Award...More

Although the St Amant Winery tasting room is in a warehouse area the wines are outstanding! A must stop for high quality zins! The wine tasting staff was excellent!!!

We have been club members of St Amant for many years. They continue to pump out great, lush red wines and amazing ports. It's a small tasting room that is hidden away, but once you find it you won't be disappointed.

Small family winery Barbara the owner and wine maker is there to pour and discuss the wines. They have exceptional wines of the Rhone varieties and remarkable ports. Well worth a visit

This is a small family owned winery with very pleasant people. Their tasting is complimentary -- most of the other wineries charge $5 pp. Their Old Zin and Ports are really good.
