Unfortunately this Mission is not an active Church anymore and is a State Park of California in the middle of a relatively uninhabited area. This Mission was founded on December 1787 by the Franciscan Father Fermín Lasuén.

A pretty trail and historically interesting place. Quite and peaceful, lush and green. Neat information about the origin of the local missions and history of the local area.
