Yes, we saw whales! Fin whale and gray whales. But the best part was multiple wildlife interpreters from the Pacific Aquarium that were on board to assist with identification, explain behaviors, show whale baleen, and using models, demonstrate how whales dive. There were porpoises and many sea birds as well. We went past the Port of Los Angeles which is... More

The Captain of the Boat knows how to find the Whales and the Catamaran bottom Boats are the steadiest fastest way to get out there to see them.

This experience was a first for me. It was a cold day for me.......given that I'm from the caribbean, but we saw Whales and Dolphins. Our tour guide was very informative and friendly. I recommend this tour for Ocean lovers!

Excellent, fun thing to do in Long Beach. Really good price, good solid boat with a very good captain. The naturalist who explained the wild life that we encountered had the perfect blend of silence, talking and explaining interesting facts about the wild life. Especially the whales. I've been on other trips where you almost needed binoculars just to see... More

we went out on the boat for the afternoon - wow how fortunate we were to see a mother and calf - and a few more Gray whales - this was truly fortunate. On the boat was a lady form the aquarium - full of knowledge and information . The boat is beautiful , comfortable, and the crew were very... More

Overpriced and a waste of time. We saw couple of birds and a the back of a dolphin throughout the excursion. The funny part was when we were asked if we enjoyed the trip lol - not so funny when it happened

Whale watching can be a hit or miss experience. The whales are wild animals, they may be there or they may not. But today was special. The boat is well maintained, and large. There is a snack bar and facilities. The crew is very knowledgeable, but also very friendly sharing their knowledge with you. What did we see? It was... More

Thank you for the awesome review. You had a very rare sight of the lunge feeding Fin Whales, which is just an amazing sight to behold. Please join us again, possibly for Gray Whales starting now, or Blue Whales in the summer. More

We came across Harbor Breeze while on a family walk around Shoreline Village in Long Beach. On a whim, we booked the 3:00 p.m. tour for that same day. We could not have planned for a more exciting experience all around. First, the boat itself has a great setup. It was not overcrowded for our departure, but even if it... More

We decided to go whale watching, while we were in California for Thanksgiving. Being from the East Coast, we're used to go to Massachusetts and Maine and we've never been disappointed. This time we went and it rained heavily for the cruise. The sea was rough, but the new catamaran boat felt very safe. We were lucky to see a... More
