FREE. Lots of locomotives, all of which can be touched and some of which can be climbed into. Picnic area. Miniature train that can be ridden. Play park. OK book and gift store. A great two-hour visit for 12 year-olds at heart.

There is a public bus that goes to the observatory, but to travel town you can bike, which is quite a ride. I always drive since I want to go to several area in the park. Uber is a good alternative. I hope this helps?
