This was a great tour, the guide was energetic and enthusiastic. He was very interested in the subject matter and brought so many interesting details to each stop on the tour. I have driven through Hollywood many times but had know idea there was so much historical significance of many of the stops on this tour. It was a great... More

I visited Hollywood specifically to take this tour and I was not disappointed! Brian was extremely knowledgeable and funny and threw in some "extras" along the way. The tour really begins at the office headquarters on Sunset Blvd. where you can roam and spot memorabilia from deceased stars as Jayne Mansfield and Karen Carpenter, among many others. Seeing the grave... More

My wife and I are 30. We took the dearly departed tragical tour last week and while the tour guide seemed to know exactly what he was talking about and had lots of facts, 90% of stars he spoke of were from before 1960. I mean, everyone knows to Maryland Monroe is, obviously, but we weren't too familiar with names... More

Very enjoyable tour with rapid fire interestingly facts. Our guide Brian very kindly drove us to our dinner afterwards because it took longer than expected. Thanks Brian! Only note would be that the tour states it is only 2 hours but was over 3 and a half hours. So please change that on the booking confirmations you send out.

Hi Matt! Thanks for your kind words, we really appreciate it. I am grateful to you for letting me know about the time being wrong somewhere. Can you please let me know exactly where you found it stated that the tour is 2 hours long? I don't want that mistake to happen again. Thank you very much and we hope... More

SCOTT RULES. We all had such a fantastic and amazing time. Scott went out of his way to personalize the tour, and added on some of his infamous Helter Skelter audio and stops to our tour that made everyone spooked and excited. LOVED IT. A+ we will be back.

So, my partner and I came to L.A. with our niece, and I wanted to find things to do with a 20 something that wouldn't reek of "old man". lol I picked out the "Tragic History" tour because I thought it would give us a good ride through L.A. and maybe a history lesson on the dearly departed of Tinseltown... The tour is very expensive, and the information carried throughout us too "yellow" for me. The tour guide was very nice and very intense.

Brian, the tour guide and driver on the Death and Scandal tour, is wacky and informative, interesting and funny and full of facts (and opinions) and he loves to impart them. The tour lasted nearly three hours and it passed in a flash. The title of the tour is a little inaccurate. It does cover the death and scandals relating... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
