The food was out of this world!! Seafood Flown in fresh daily from Boston, and some locally sourced. The staff were very professional and attentive. The decor is great! Say Hi to Lexie at the bar!

Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles is iconic, a street that goes through Holly wood, Beverly Hills, UCLA, and the Pacific Palisades, winding up at the Pacific Ocean at Pacific Coast Highway, where a beach restaurant named Gladstone's is.

But besides all the places of interest, it was originally named Sunset Boulevard because if you drive towards the west along the street at around sunset, the sun will be right in front of you, setting in it's romantic reddish orange glory. (I actually went at a date different from what I've listed , so I am not sure if the seasons change the sun's positioning significantly above the road, so please check that if you wish, but it is quite a romantic drive into the sunset while passing by all those spots of interest, if you start out from near downtown and go all the way to the Pacific Ocean. The drive is full of turns, though, so be careful.)

We had a rental car and drove the 22 mile length of Sunset Boulevard. Although seeing the street at one spot may not be that impressive, in its entirety it is a lovely drive. From downtown LA to Hollywood, then toward the ocean and the Pacific Coast Highway. Just bring your patience, there was a lot of traffic.

Sunset Boulevard is one one the most iconic things about LA but, it is ultimately just a road. There is no doubt that it covers a few highlights e.g. Playboy Mansion, the Oppenheim Group and leads straight to Hollywood but it's something you end up passing through rather than venturing to.

A good drive but a lot of singals. Beautiful houses on both sides of the road. Have already seen it in many seasons and movies.

The best part of our walk down sunset boulevard was running into a little convenience store called the Pink Dot and crossing the street to eat while we were looking over the Los Angeles skyline. The Guitar Center was also pretty cool. Otherwise, not much to see or do. And if you have any compassion for the homeless, which we do, it was very difficult to see their circumstances and then to see people driving million dollar vehicles within blocks of each other.

One of the IT streets in L.A.
So much history is here and the restaurants, attractions, entertainment and so much more is covered for miles on Sunset Boulevard.
Sunset has it all.

An interesting walk of famous venues and new entries alike... a great afternoon in the sun, stopped for a great appetizer at Mel's along the way.

Great walk in the city, a lovely experience to see places from movies. Many places to stop and take pics and to enjoy an American dining.
