My friend and I went to see "Heisenberg" at the Taper yesterday. They have newly put seats on the back of the small stage, which puts the players not "in the round", but with seats in front of and behind them. My friend has season...More

All seats are relatively close to the stage. ▪️Seating: Comfortable seating with some legroom. ▪️Play: Archduke, which we thought was only fair. ▪️Bar and Food: Typical. ▪️Cost: Relatively expensive for an...More

We love the Mark Taper. It is in the middle of Downtown LA and part of the Music Center. The location is great. You can have lunch before the show or just sit in the pretty outdoor area and look at the lovely fountains and...More

I'll leave the perspective of the specific show I saw out, because it will be long gone before you read it. In general the theater has a wide variety of high quality shows. However, having seen a lot of shows in many theaters, I will...More

After hearing a lot of hype, I spent a lot of money to see "The Price," while visiting from the West Coast with my girlfriend. I expected more than one stage set. The set you see when you come in is the same the whole...More

Amazing, wonderful production that brings the story alive. And you cannot get a bad seat in the Mark Taper Forum. If you can still get tickets, GO!

A wonderful theatre experience (Zoot Suits). It seems that every seat is a good seat, and the washrooms actually accommodate a large number of people in a short space of time. Can't wait to make an evening here part of our next visit to LA.

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants
