Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.

Visited twice during a week in LA on both occasions atmosphere was what you want from a bar. Bar staff very friendly and customers chatted to one another at the bar which was nice - a real locals’ bar.
Bar snacks soaked up the beer, Guinness was surprisingly good albeit poured too quickly and could have been colder. Made my week visiting this bar.

Service is a touch casual, but very friendly. Pub food, salads and beers just what I expected, very good. Not a sports bar, but a decent place to watch a game on TV. Great ambiance.

We love bone in buffalo wings. This place has great tasting wings, great Reuben sandwich, calamari, grilled cheese and tomato soup. Everything we got was delicious. Amazing irish feel and drinks are strong! Here for the Fresno State game against USC. Loved everything about this place! Forgot to take a pic of the food. Also great prices. But make sure you call ahead for the menu. They don't serve the regular food like Shepard's pie or bangers and mash until after 3pm on the weekends.

Out for a walk on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, saw the Guinness signs on an Irish bar and thought that sounded perfect. Actually, I asked for Murphy's, but they don't have it, so got a nicely drawn pint of Guinness instead. Unfortunately, it didn't taste like any of the Guinness I've had anywhere else. There was a little bit of bitterness to it that made me wonder if their tap lines needed cleaning or if there was something hinky with the nitrogen supply.

Hands down the worst Shepard’s Pie I’ve ever eaten! It was bland and when I went back to return it I was told not refunds only exchanges. Only after she ensured the Shepard’s Pie was not really eaten. Ok so there was no real way for me to make it exactly $15.50 and was told I needed to pay the additional $.55

The Manager/Bartender came and asked me for the $.55 I explained very politely that there was no real way for me to make my meal exactly what the original was and they weren’t willing to refund the difference. She literally screamed at me not to worry and huffed away. Blond hair w the bottom half shaved.

I’m in town for a conference with travel agents, buyers and receptive tour operators from all over the world. The company I work for has a hotel not too far from this establishment. I can assure you I will let anyone who listens know about the service here.

I was just commenting earlier today about how I have yet to experience a bad meal in LA. Must’ve jinxed myself.

My companion had a French Dip which consisted of stale bread and no cheese and waaay overcooked fries. Do better Caseys...

For Happy Hour or St. Patrick's Day this is a fun place to be! Friendly crowd! Live music, no cover! Pool table, dart board, and other games too! Order at the bar. But, not too long a wait for your food to be served. Had the buffalo wings. Spicy and tasty! Guinnes is the Irish beer to drink! Really good! Full bar. My co-worker had a mixed drink, Irish Mule, and loved it. Used to come here often a long time ago. The décor and crowd has changed but still a great place to unwind after a hard day's work!

Staying at the Millenium Biltmore ,Casey's pub was only a block away so seemed a good place for a meal and a drink, the doorman demanded I'd for age purposes....I'm 68,maybe I don't look that age but not sure on that, anyway in the end he let us down the stairs into the bar and eating area....dark Smokey place, couldn't get to bar to order,no menus on table, extremely noisy,so we left and went to Denny,s

Great central Irish type bar in down town Los Angeles with mainly local characters and city office workers colleagues folks. Good choice of comfort food. Large smoking area patio out front where you can chill, play darts or table tennis all while having a nice smoke if that’s what you like.

We popped in for an evening drink. The bouncer upstairs was fun and he had a laugh and a joke with us, but the barman serving didn’t give the usual standard of service that you usually get. Very surly and unwelcoming so we left after on e drink.
Won’t return.

We stopped in on a weekday night, the place wasn't busy at all. We sat at the bar and ordered 2 carbombs. The woman who was bartending filled a Stoddard glass less than half full, and gave us the shot mix---mostly Bailey's. They were $10 each, so I asked here how we might get a full pint. She mentioned that's how they serve 'em. Whatever. She then turned around and never again faced us, so we left. I'm sure there are better bartenders.
