The first real life room escape games were launched in Budapest in early 2011. With more than a 100 locations now, escape games have become the 'in' thing and now it is the number one tourist action of the Hungarian capital. The game itself attracts thousands of players on a daily basis as it provides an unforgettable and very unique experience for everyone. Our team opened one of the first locations in Budapest, home of the original Live Escape Games. Based on the total number of visitors, our company has created by far the most professional and realistic environments to play these phenomenal games. The first US PanIQ Room unit was established by seven young entrepreneurs from Hungary who truly hope you will be a part of this revolutionary experience!

Very unique experience, it's like being part of your own movie. The theming was very authentic, all of our team members loved the puzzles and the game plot. We're definately going to try the other rooms, when we get back to LA!

We didn't quite know what to expect, but had a great time. Our team was 3 people and we completed in 55 minutes (around 1/2 the teams can complete at all). I thought that sized team was about right, maybe one more. its definitely cooperative, and I'd highly recommend this to anyone wanting to do something really different.
We did the Insane Asylum, and will definitely by back to do the Bunker and future Mad Scientist games.

Very exciting place better than going to the movies.
The game is out for 1 hour to get out of the room, two rooms have been tried, from both managed to get out at the last minute. Fantastic feeling! Very good team building!

The team had a varying experience, 4 of us had fun whilst the other 2 felts out of place a bit. We loved the fact that we had to find, gather and solve puzzles to get a means of "getting out". Just when we thought we've accomplished something, we find ourselves once again in a pickle. If one grew up with PC games like Phantasmagoria, Myst or any "room escape games", this experience is something to try.

Had a great time in the Insane asylum room! If you want to do something different and challenging, this is perfect. We had 6 people in our group, we had 16 minutes to spare at the end. Probably more challenging with fewer people, but still fun with a larger party. We will be going back to do the Bunker .However......
they lost 2 stars because their ghetto pajama wearing employee who mentioned does not give a f*** about his Yelp reviews and just wants his paycheck. So here's another one for you....It is not okay to employ someone who doesn't even have enough common sense to know PJs are not appropriate for ANY job. He also spoke about how hung over he was and about his prior night, as if anyone cared, cursing the ENTIRE time. Not cute, not cool, ridiculous. This made the whole experience start off wrong. Thank God we were locked in a room where he couldn't be seen or heard anymore. Sorry if he is a friend of the owner that is hooking him up with a job, but he's bad for the business.
With that said, once he gets his replacement, the place as a whole will be a great experience...Also we have yet to see our group photo online, its been 3 days..

My friends and I have done many scavenger hunts, go to trivia nights, and escape rooms where they don't really lock you up. This REAL escape room (Asylum) was exhilarating and very well themed - the house is old so we couldn't tell if a lot of the things in there were props part of the game or just parts of the house - very realistic! The puzzles were at a good challenge level and my friends and I had a lot of fun working together - this would be perfect as a team building exercise. It was a great deal at just $12 per person with the groupon deal we bought. We are looking forward to going back to do the Bunker!

We booked tickets for this attraction and we learned two weeks ahead of time that our trip was going to have to be changed due to a family situation. We contacted them two weeks ahead of time and asked if we could be reimbursed and they would not give us the $75 back. I totally would understand if it was a couple days before and they were unable to book the time again because it was last minute, but with 2 weeks notice, it is unacceptable to me to have a no refund policy. On principal, I would not ever come back.

I had a groupon so I got 3 of my friends together and did the Bunker room. We escaped with 20 minutes to spare! The puzzles seemed to have the right amount of difficulty, and I really liked that there were enough puzzles that we could split up into pairs and work on different parts of the room. 4-6 people is a good number to have, any more or less will take up more time and/or space. Without giving away anything, there were some nice surprises in this room that I hadn't seen in other escape rooms I've done before (change of scenery being most notable). Parking is actually easier than you would think: you can park in the narrow driveway in front of the building, or in the paved area right above it. I would definitely come back and do the other room!
