Although admission is free you need to obtain a timed entry ticket for admittance and parking is US$15, this is transferrable to the Getty Center for same day parking.
We spent 2-3 hours browsing the artefacts, which are amazing, and enjoying the beautiful setting.
We have been going here for years. It is beautiful and peaceful but most important it was built to show what a Roman villa would have looked like. Beautiful building, setting and fantastic collection of antiquities.
Loved the buildings, the collection and the gardens. Very enjoyable experience. Staff was welcoming and very informative. The art was excellent. The gardens were the biggest surprise and extremely enjoyable.
