Had a great day at Zuma Beach. Even on a Monday, there were a lot of people but because the beach is so large, it didn't feel too crowded. Played in the surf and watched waves. Only sad thing was we saw the LA County...More

Zuma was near our airbnb. The food offerings were pretty drab, and no drinks on the beach. But it was gorgeous and peaceful and very enjoyable for a few hours.

Zuma beach is gorgeous! It's wide, with plenty of room for playing. However, every time we visit here it's always crowded--and this time was no different. Great stop, beautiful beach--but crowded.

The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some
areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush,
green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped
shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern
Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football
field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on
towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still
feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted

No. You can walk your dog along the road and through the parking lot all the way to Point Dume, but you cannot go on the sand or walk along the shoreline with your doggies. The only dog friendly beach up there is Oxnard... More
