Quiet, peaceful beach

Beautiful clean beach. Stopped here while traveling down the coast. It was early morning so there was no one else around. Very tranquil. Will definitely be back.

One of our favorite places to go to when in the Oxnard-Camarillo-Malibu area. Great ocean views, beaches, trails/parks, and even camping on the beach.

Get on the overlook rock, behind the fence is the place to be. It can be windy so be careful. Cooler than most spots, too. Great place to get sunset photos.

I came in an RV, it was ok but they're no hook ups. The campground is literally across the street from the beach, they don't have a cross walk though which is kinda weird so you basically have to book it across the street if you're walking. Not very safe. Other then that the bathrooms are probably the cleanest bathroom... More

The beach is quite quiet. The coast is short but nice. There is some trash but it is relatively clean. Nice place to sit and watch the beach.

My husband and I hiked there and were beyond impressed with the ocean views. We got there early so it wasn't very crowded. I would highly recommend this hike and will definitely do it again the next time we visit LA! My tip would be to go very early in the morning, driving down the PCH with out any traffic... More

This review is for Sycamore Canyon Beach located in Pt. Mugu State Park (which cover 14,000 square miles of land). Sycamore Canyon Beach entrance is off PCH on the ocean side (east, land side entrance is to the campgrounds). Parking lot fee $12. The beach here is quite natural, rather small and missing the pristine sand that you'll find farther... More

Went to spend 1 night in this campground. The price was expensive ($45 per night + $8 booking fee) without being able to reserve an actual spot so you were assigned one on entry. After entering, we were assigned space 3 which was really close to the ones beside us. In fact It was only about 5 feet or so... More

Freezing cold water, plain beach with nothing to do around just relax and climb some rocks, too dangerous to swim in, impossible to snorkel, no shade at all don't expect to swim in beautiful crystal clear blue warm water and see lots of colorful fish because this is not Mexico. Probably a good fishing spot since we saw a family... More

Very nice Campground. Level, shaded, decent showers/restrooms. Right across the street from the Pacific Ocean/Beach. Very friendly staff.
