When we come to LA we always stay at Manhattan Beach. Fantastic beach, great selection of restaurants all within walking distance and good surf.

It was amazing to see the sunset from Manhattan Beach. Board walk is awesome too, it is decorated with lights on Christmas Eve. There is a plenty of parking space. It is hourly parking.

Watch the surfers from the pier; walk the trail and look at the homes; take your shoes off and walk in the fine sand. This is a great spot.

Manhattan Beach is clean and quiet. Soft sand for California. Beach volley ball and surfing area. Nice place to walk along the ocean.

This place in December isn't crowded. The view is nice and the sand looks clean. I would recommend people coming here in December so enjoy some alone time!

Rent a car, I usually find the best rates on Priceline. It'll be good for getting around Manhattan Beach as well.

40 minutes to an hour. Depending on traffic. Uber is available at reasonable rates. Best to go late morning to avoid rush hour traffic.

Yep, it's called the ocean express. Easy to get tickets; your concierge will have them available.
