Great place to watch baseball

We've been here a few times and it's a great place to watch baseball. The fields look like they need updating, though.

Came here to watch my nephew play baseball. The fields are fabulous! Being able to go inside and watch the games is very nice on a hot day. They don't allow outside good or drinks and this can get very expensive for a family. 3 SMALL Icees were $12! That's insane! I had to pay $5 to watch the game!

Not me, I hate heat! That's why I love BLD, you can sit inside their snack area, drink beer but still watch your game. The designer of this place was a genius.

This was our first visit to a Big Leagues Dream park. They have other facilities in other cities. I thought it was a very fun idea with the replica Big League Ball Parks. There is also soccer areas. There is both outside and indoor fields, so it is an all year park. its also fun that one can have snacks,... More

Big League Dreams is a softball complex with one of six different fields built on the configuration of a major league ballpark. There are even "fans" in the stands above the field. This is the thrill—to imagine that you are hitting and playing in the big leagues. The maintenance of the park is poor, which is surprising since it charges... More

This weekend our girls softball tournament was scheduled at two different fields in the Manteca area. This winter in California is very wet and the dirt fields were rained out completely. Not so with the artificial turf fields at Big League Dreams where we managed to get in most of a game on Saturday afternoon and 4 on Sunday. Even... More

Not to make our parents seem like a bunch of lushes- but we look forward to playing here all year. The bar opens at 10 am and we all swoop to get our Bloody Mary's. DOn't get me wrong, there are not a bunch of obnoxious, drunk people stumbling around. It's just nice to grab a cocktail with your buddies. As... More

Only problem is they need to invest some of the money they are making back into the park. Lots and lots of broken seats and it's starting to look weathered. I know they make a little money from the cost of the tournaments and the food and alcohol they sell. Our kids love playing the though.

Very nice place, indoor soccer, great place to start a league. It's good that they keep security as primary. Food in the cafe area is almost a little to pricey for what they serve. But it's worth bringing the family to enjoy a game of ball.
