We went here on a whim with a local or we probably would have never found it. What a pleasant surprise! It was a little chilly and a Monday, so not all of the shops were open, but we enjoyed it anyway. The grounds were beautiful! In addition, everyone who worked there was just lovely. The gift shop is run by volunteers and benefits a childrens’ hospital so we made sure to buy a trinket. The restaurant was also better than I expected and in a very interesting building. This would be great place on a warm day, maybe on the weekend when more shops were open.

We had a great lunch followed by a visit to the shops on the grounds including a visit to the Barn where my nieces met Tom, the wood worker supreme.

You only need an extra hour to enjoy Allied Arts, but well worth the hour! There's a cute little restaurant on the property as well.
