The campus has pay-to-park lots. The museum is on the first floor of the only 4 story building on campus. There is a nominal admission charge. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a fine, if modest sized, museum dealing primarily with the flora...More

MJC did an outstanding job when they created the new Great Valley Museum. It's a must see. Also they have events for star gazing in the evening and family science events.

A smaller museum, good for about 1 1/2 hours plus a visit to the planetarium. Keep in mind the planetarium has limited hours so call ahead. Friendly staff and informative exhibits although a little more info on the wildlife would be nice. The road to...More

I recently took my kids here, and they LOVED it!! I went as a child, but I must say, that the remodel and move has greatly improved the experience. I'd recommend the Great Valley Museum for a family outing.

Didn't make it to the museum. All parking lots we saw were by permit only or a day pass to be purchased at a kiosk. Could not see any kiosks, so gave up. Perhaps someone in the know can post the how to on this...More

jmmccas, we are sorry for the frustration with our parking situation. The museum is on a community college campus and parking can be a bit tough when classes are in session. Parking is free on Saturdays and there is less traffic. Please note that we...More

We had a wedding group basically killing time before dinner, and about 13 of us went here. Some very interesting displays, including the solar system to scale in the entry way. We saw a planetarium show about earthquakes. There is a suspended globe which basically...More
