In all of our decades visiting Mono Lake, we had no idea this was here! It was a little tricky to get to, but even if your car isn't up to the dirt road at the end you can walk the rest of the way....More

The fissures are a little hard to find. Take Cemetery Road till you get to the BP road. It's mostly washboard for several miles. Hike to the fissures is maybe 45 - 60 minutes and the going is a little slow because you're walking on...More
