Nice walk near the Monterey Fisherman's Wharf!

Good attraction to see & casual walk along the wharf ! We enjoyed the wharf & the cannery row with many popular restaurants in the area.

At first glance it remembered me a bit of Key West... Maybe it'll happen to you too. The cannery row is a must see in Monterey, with a lot of hotels, stores and restaurants. Worth a walk.

We have been coming to Cannery Row since 1995. I am a hopeless romantic when it comes to John Steinbeck's books. Had to come and see for myself the attraction that he had for this area. Once you experience Cannery Row it is easy to see why Steinbeck fell in love with this place. Granted, it has changed a lot... More

This will be one of my all time fav' places to "get away" to! Lots of things to do and see or if you just want to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery. Shops are adorable and the sea life is close enough to watch from the restaurant patio. I have been able to see Seals looking for fish... More

Love Cannery Row, even with all the souvenir shops and kitchy stores. Along the street, is still possible to imagine old Doc Ricketts in his lab, as well as the Sardine Factories, no longer there. It is quintessentially historic.

You don't go to Monterey and miss Cannery Row with all it's shops and great restaurants. Spend half a day and enjoy.

Very busy and touristy as is to be expected. Interesting history...I read the book by John Steinbeck on my return home!

Lots of restaurants and stores! We got lunch and took the kids to the candy store! What a great store! Found Harry Potter chocolate frogs and kinder eggs. My kids and I were in heaven! Hubby found some frat nostalgic candies too! A must go to after an aquarium visit
