Booked in advance. Checking was easy and efficient. Whale watching was a success, did see plenty of feeding whales many of them from a really close distance. Marine biologist made an excellent job narrating the cruise.

We have just got back. What a fantastic tour! Sea otters, sea lions and seals in the harbour as an appetiser. Humpbacks feeding alongside sea lions, and risso's dolphins later on for main. Then, for dessert, blue whales and lots of them! Obviously, each tour is...More

Within 15 minutes from departure the first humpbacks were spotted and many whales would follow. Very pleasant and relaxed whale watch without surplus prices for higher decks (such as other operators in the area charge)!

This was a birthday treat for my wife and she'd had to wait a long time...it was absolutely worth it! We had the 9am, 4 hour trip on Blackfin, captained by Scott and with a knowledgeable and helpful team, with a special mention for Joe....More

We were really lucky with our boat trip. The water was pretty calm. You need to take quite a few layers - even when it's boiling on land, it can be cold out on the ocean. Our crew were really knowledgeable and our guide was...More

My grandson and I took a 3-hour trip. Neither of us gets motion sickness. But be sure to take something like Dramamine if you do. And dress in layers. The ocean and the wind can get quite chilly. I was impressed by the fact that...More

We booked a four hour trip online for a weekday starting at 8 AM. Check in was fast and we started on time- unlike other whale watching tours we have taken with different companies. The marine biologist guiding the tour was very entertaining, friendly and...More

We were very lucky and managed to see humpback whales, blue whales, dolphins, sunfish and even a blue shark. We had enviable conditions of no wind or fog and glassy seas which made spotting very easy. I can imagine in rougher conditions that it is...More

I also recommend Monterey Bay Whale Watching. They are very knowledgeable. The captains always search for whales and make sure you see a variety of marine life. They have a marine biologist or naturalist on board to give you... More

You can call them to see which species are being spotted the week before. Again, there are almost always some species of large whales near the bay. They migrate up & down the coast from the Baja to Alaska, even to Hawaii... More

Each day can be different. You should be able to do a little research a week or so out to see what species are in the area normally. Again, no guarantees about whales. You will see some marine mammals, but whales are the... More
