Very nice ride with beautiful spots to stop and admire the view. You can't miss it. You need at least two hours to make it at a good pace. They provide you with a map at the entrances and charge 10 dollars per vehicle. We...More

The drive is amazing. This is the quintessential drive up the California coast. Be sure to bring snacks as there are not many restaurants along the road.

I simply don't get the idea of paying money to drive on a rich guy's road? The scenery from almost everywhere else is exceptional so maybe I am missing something. Is it a golf thing or something? I don't know.

What a beautiful drive , breathless and lots of spots to pull over to gaze gaze and gaze again , love seeing the different properties along the ride. Its well worth the 10.00 fee

If you're a golfer, you have to pay your $$ to drive this. Beautiful coastline, amazing homes, and the stunning golf courses you see on TV. Stop and have lunch at Pebble Beach and buy a crazy expensive souvenir.

You can't see any of the houses and it is not for little kids it is boring and they are millionaire houses so there are big walls in front of them

First experience on this drive and it was great. Enjoyed the ocean, the harbor seals and otters and the scenic drive. Only drawback was that some of the road did become narrow around some of the homes along the way, but it was still passable...More

This is a beautiful and very interesting drive. It is definitely worth the ten dollar fee. I videotaped. Sea lions and the sound they make. Bird Rock of course is covered with birds, but the rocks below have the sea lions and closer to shore...More

Yes, it's a nice drive and the properties are dreamlike. However after visiting LA, Vegas and SF I cant help but compare the abject poverty of so many to this almost Stepford Wife existence. It's a country of vast difference, that's for sure.

Remember the homes you can "see" while driving along the 17 mile drive are PRIVATE homes and if you trespass or act too nosy around their property line they may not like it. The private houses are not part of a tour even... More

Yes, I believe the closest place to rent bikes is at Lovers Point Park (Adventures by the Sea). Also, bikes can ride the road for free!
