I love Morro Strand State Beach! I've been there twice now, and each time it was a wonderfully refreshing experience. No matter how many people there may be, it seems uncrowded. The beach is wide, with some little dunes, etc....the perfect spot for a family...More

It doesn't get much better than this with huge Morro Rock anchoring the Beach at the South end. The are areas of open beach/surf as well as the breakwater and sand spit. Can get windy. Fun to watch surfers.

The sound of the Ocean while walking on the Beach is just awesome Morro Strand State Beach is a nice peaceful place. From the time we leave the Beach to head home, I can't wait to return.

How blessed are we to have this exceptional benefit right in our own "front yard"? Beautiful clean beach with views some people only get to experience on vacation and we have it every day of our lives!

This beach entices you to stroll and then stroll some more. We enjoyed wandering the Strand during a recent visit with friends who live in the area.

Loved this beach. Wide and spectacular, with the rock at the end, and jade pebbles rewarding the careful fossicker. Free parking was nice to find, too.

Morro Bay is not warn. Compare it to Monterey. It can be foggy and windy any time of the year. No matter when you come make sure you bring warm clothes. I speak as an 18 year resident.
