This is one of the darkest aquariums needing upkeep we have visited. Several of the tanks needed cleaning and the only saving grace is it seems the seals are okay with their area - but could certainly use more. Save your money and drive over...More

We have been taking our daughter here since she was young. I love this gift shop and small aquarium for families with kids because it's one of the last places on the Embarcadero that still has inexpensive souvenirs, entrance to the aquarium and sea lion...More

This is truly a tourist trap. It does not cost much to enter the Aquarium portion of the shop. I felt the the fish and others were poorly kept and dirty. I did not like it.

This is one of the saddest things I've ever seen. It's old, small, grundgey and dismal. The 3 seals have very small, cramped enclosures and the fish in the barren, unadorned aquariums look positively depressed. I hope the SPCA is aware of this place.

Loved the seals. Fun to feed them ($.50 for a little bag). Really liked the exhibits inside except that it was hard to tell which sea creature was on exhibit. Spent about 1/2 hour inside. Well worth the $3.00 entrance fee and then there is...More

I was spending a couple of days in the area visiting my son and we thought we were going to see pretty fish tanks sort of like going to a fish store. This was like a terrible nightmare or horror movie. The seals are in...More

Kind of a depressing little place but the seals seem pretty happy but then again i don't speak seal, so who knows. My 9 year old daughter kind of got a kick out it so I guess it might be ok for some.

This was our second time to see the "aquarium". It consists of two seals that you can buy bits of fish to feed them. The fish in tanks are laying on the bottom waiting to die. The few artifacts are not unusual...shark jaw, etc. You...More

Hard to understand the purpose of this place, the seals at the entrance are cute as they beg for food but their enclosure is small and sad to see. No life for a seal. The rest of the aquarium makes no sense really there is...More

I have been to many aquariums in my life, and I can honestly say that the fish here are some of the saddest, most depressed fish I've ever seen. Most of them seemed to be dead, but upon closer inspection I picked up a bit...More
