My family spent 2 days riding with Central Coast Outdoors in the area around SLO and had a great trip. We aren't experienced riders so we really appreciated Virginia and John's help and guidance. My wife and I spent the first afternoon pedaling through Edna Valley where Virginia helped us get comfortable with the bikes and roads, then took us... More

Our 4 day biking trip along the Big Sur Coast was outstanding! CCO provided excellent service. They provided a private, individualized trip at an extremely reasonable price. We enjoyed delicious picnic lunches tailored for a gluten free diet. I highly recommend CCO.

We just completed a self-guided bike tour, so CCO essentially served as our outfitter. Great service for the money. The fee they charge isn't all that much more than shipping your bike out west and back, and their service comes with detailed maps and route support. CCO is a great company. They genuinely cared that it might rain during our... More

Virginia was amazing to collect us from Morro Bay, travel to SLO area and on modern bikes travel to visit wineries of our choice. Lunch provided by Virginia was one of the best picnic spreads we have ever seen and we had a great time. Would recc to have some exercise during your travel itinerary! TIP - wineries will charge... Looking for views of the Pacific Ocean, surfing, mountain biking, hiking with a fabulous view, boating, or watching birds or sea otter, sea lions and elephant seals, and even a magnificent nature history museum in Morro Bay State Park? This is hidden gem of nature history. Several CA state parks are along this coast from Montana de Oro to Morro... More

My husband and I had a blast on this tour! There was so much to see that we wished we had signed up for the half day instead. Our guide was very friendly and informative. She was able to tell us so much about the wildlife and the history of the bay. She also recommended places for hiking and biking... More

The half-day classic trip was an unforgettable experience! This was my first time on a kayak and due to patience and truly limitless knowledge about the area of our guide - Paul - this trip turned out to be amazing. We learned A LOT about Morro Bay area and the abundance of wild life that inhabits it. There was a... More

This was a fantastic experience! I needed something geared to beginners because 7 of our group of 9 had never kayaked before. Instruction was great, no one tipped over, lunch was fantastic and the commentary from our guides (John and Mandy) was awesome. I was surprised that we hardly got wet at all...I wasn't sure what to expect. Our group... More

John was punctual, friendly, and took us on a beautiful tour of wine country. John went out of his way by to give us the best experience. The bike was excellent, very smooth shifting. The picnic at the end was delicious homemade food which they catered to our dietary preferences. We were not rushed, plenty of time to visit wineries... More

We have been using Central Coast Outdoors for kayak tours with our freshman for the last 6 years! They are professional, safe, and tell you a ton about the bay and the local flora and fauna. We appreciate the work they do to accomodate us and adjust when our schedule has a hickup.
