The oldest family owned winery in Murphys, Milliaire was founded by Liz and Steve Millier in 1983. Enjoy a unique selection of Foothill wines from Alicante to Gewurztraminer & Zinfandel Port. Visit our tasting room housed in a refurbished auto garage on Main Street & experience these wines on our picturesque Creekside Patio!

Visited the winery for a tasting today. Our hostess, Lillian?, was friendly, fun and helpful. Wines are delicious and we took a few home to share with friends.

We visited based on recommendations from friends and we were not disappointed, based mainly on Linda our wine educator. She was personable, and engaging and made the experience exceptional.

A fantastic tasting experience in an outdoor setting by the creek. The staff were wonderful. We sat under a fig tree by the creek tasting wine. We were able to find a ripe fig and enjoyed! Very peaceful setting in Murphys!

Millaire Winery has been established in the Gold Country for years. The owner and wine maker also helps produce wine for other wineries, but this the brand he puts his name on.
Our favorite is the "Simply Red," a blend that serves as our basic table red wine. It has the soft taste of a merlot grape, but highlights from others that give it a pleasing flavor.
The winery itself is located in a converted gas station on main street, with a patio out back. They have events, including musicians, during spring and summer seasons, and the folks in the tasting room are helpful and pleasant.
I like the ine. No pretensions, just good taste.

Recommended by another Winery we made this our last stop for the day. Sunday’s are Mimosa’s Days where you get to mixup your own Mimosa!
We opted to try the Tasting. Where they offer a Mixed one, a White one and a Red one. I did the White my husband did the Red. I enjoyed there Viognier and left with that one. My Husband loved their Old Vine Zinfandel that had won the Gold Medal and he left with that one. Friendly people and they have and outside Patio to sit and enjoy your wine.

We enjoyed the friendly service and tasty wines in this atmospheric and ramshackle older building. They have a terrace outside next to the creek and a selection of interesting wine accessories and gifts. The wines are well made and affordable, I especially liked the Gewurztraminer and the Alicante Bouschet. They kindly held on to our purchases for later pick up so we could go elsewhere without being loaded down. They waive the tasting fee if you buy a bottle. Recommended.

This is another wine tasting room only on the main street of Murphys. Nice location and service. Good wines and prices. Tasting fee is refundable upon purchase.

The sparkling wine was my favorite. Enjoyed it! I didn't go out of the tasting room but it looked like a couple bought a bottle or glass and sat outside to enjoy the patio.

Friendly staff. Very tasty wine and a great price on a nice sparkling bottle. Worth the stop. Wish they were open later ( most tasting rooms closed at 5) but they were nice enough to let us in without a ton of time.

Pet bird lives in the tasting room. He's very entertaining. The wines are very good. I loved the servers. Very attentive and helpful with the merchandise in the gift shop area too. Same parent company as Black Sheep across the street
