Overview
More
We are by appointment only. Please go to our website to inquire about our experiences. We do not take phone reservations. The cost is $55.00 per person. We regretfully are not permitted to have anyone under 21 years of age nor allow any pets on the premises. Our award winning wines come from our 40 acres in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. From grape growing to bottling, the entire winemaking process is managed at the estate. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our wines are sought after by collectors and have received many awards, including a recent 98 point score for our 2013 Unrestrained Reserve Bordeaux Blend.

Wow! The pictures online don't do it justice! This home estate winery is just marvelous. We arrived at 10am per our reservations to find ourselves the only one there. We were seated with huge glasses of delicious wine and a cheese board. The views were...More

We had wondered if it would be worth the price for the tasting, and it definitely was!!! A beautiful setting in the vineyards as Julio brought us our wines and stayed and shared insights with us. The owner came by, also. The highlight of our...More

This was our first trip to Napa, and O'Brien was our first stop after several friends highly recommended we go. Jason spent an hour and a half with the two of us, teaching us about the wines and he was VERY intelligent and VERY enjoyable...More

Jason Craig was the consummate Wine Ambassador. He kept us laughing and tasting on our late May Napa trip. I would have purchased so-so wine from him. But that's not what they sell. With wines named Seduction, Passion of the Soul and Romance of the...More

Hands down this is my favorite winery in the Napa valley. We are novice wine connoisseurs and Luis provided an incredible tasting experience. We spent over 2.5 hours talking with him about the vineyard, the wines, and the Napa/Sonoma area in general. He was such...More

Most of the smaller wineries require reservations, I would call or email the ones you want to go to, so you aren't turned away. OBrien and Venge require reservations, groups of four or less may be able to just walk in for a... More

Best to reserve tastings well in advance at O'Brien's, small and intimate, as opposed to Castelo. Do it on line or by phone in advance. O'Brien's is very close to Yountville, but you will need to drive.

I would recommend the Venge, Pride and Vincent Arroyo wineries, I not sure about them being vegan. We had a rental car and drove ourselves, some people had a driver tour them instead of the bigger van tours. We stayed at a... More
