The tasting room is bright and full of quirky art and found objects. The setup of seats and high tables was convenient for our group. It was the end of day of touring 3 other wineries with Platypus tours and our group was a little rowdy. Our guide didn't seem ready for that but he was a good sport. The... More

This place is an excellent family winery. The lady handling our tasting also picks grapes. It was my favorite winery that I visited on my trip.

We had the privilege to visit this family run winery on our final day in the Napa. We had visited different regions in the previous days, spending our time at the larger production winery's. The awe factors of the big winerys were mostly to do with their massive facilities and architecture, not necessarily the wine. Being from a small town... More

Great little place in Carneros, a bit out of the way but well worth it. We were given a short tour of the vineyard & production and a wine tasting that included a full explanation of each wine. All the wines were good, especially the Cab Sauv and Cab Franc, but then he pulled out a library Cabernet Franc, a... More

We stopped here as part of our Platypus Tour. This was the first winery we visited, and it was my favorite. It's got a very relaxing vibe, sitting in an open barn like setting -surrounded by family artwork, tasting really delicious wine. We even took a walk out into the vinyards and were able to pick grapes to eat! If... More

This was a great place to get an in depth tour of how wine is made. Our tour even tasted off the vine as well as got to tamp down. Very personal experience. Beautiful area of Napa.

Another upscale winery nearby recommended a stop here once he heard we were Cab Franc fans. Only wish we had more time. We did a pretty quick semi-tasting and the proprietors were so accommodating and friendly even though we didn't have reservations and they were expecting a large party any minute. Cab Franc didn't disappoint, neither did several other of... More

We visited this winery as part of our wine tour with Platypus and loved It! You feel like you are being welcomed onto the family farm and into their home for the tasting. Very genuine people here who love growing grapes and making wine... I would make this a stop on your Napa itinerary!!

Our Napa hotel recommended this winery and made an appointment for a tasting for us. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to taste these wines. All of the reds we tasted were outstanding and, although not particularly fond of whites, especially chardonnay, also enjoyed the whites offered to us. The owner's daughter was gracious and informative about the... More
