Lots of stuff packed into this small gem of a museum. Closed by the end of October. The docent said it was too difficult and expensive to try and keep the place heated in winter, so they close it instead.

The docent has a lot of knowledge to share about the items in the museum, and about the area's history. Be sure to ask her questions :)

An eclectic collection encompassing Indian, Chinese, The Donner Party, and other settlers' relics. And, be sure you save some time to chat with the museum volunteer for additional colorful tales of local characters and history.
