The nature center is interesting with birds and snakes inside. There are several hiking trails with various lengths and difficulty. I went on the Canyon Trail which was a 4 mile round trip hike. It had a few steeper slopes but was overall a relatively easy hike. It follows along a creek (which is currently dried up) but it was... More

This place is a gem. Beautiful trails to walk on. Bathrooms to use. A nature center. A wonderful place for families and friends to walk around. The trees keep it rather cool for Santa Clarita. Wonderful walking and biking area.

We just hiked a mile up and down the creek...didn't see any nuggets...but the real... More

This is a special place in the Santa Clarita Valley not far from the 14 freeway. There is some good hiking.....there is parking, restrooms, and an area for picnicking. Be watchful when you hike as rattlesnakes call this area home...love going here!

Right off the 14 freeway, there is a peaceful park with many trails. Parking is free and there are restrooms and picnic facilities. There are trails for all levels. There is a small museum, too. Great place to get away from the city, traffic and enjoy nature!

Lots of FREE parking, plenty of good trails for all levels, nice picnic area, live birds on display, a very nice interpretive area, and a good gift shop. They also offer live presentations but those are really for kids 5+. We also noticed lots of... More
