Spent about an hour in the current exhibit. Love the quaint, manageable size of the museum. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Free on Fridays. Adult admission is $10.00. Worth it.

Saw a sensational POP ART exhibition at this small museum that feels more like a high-end art gallery or college art hall than the OCMA. Well-curated, sophisticated & pleasant viewing throughout. Lots of great outdoor places to walk & eat nearby. Well worth it for...More

This concrete block museum contains of wealth of colorful "pop" art currently (Jan 7 - Apr. 2, 2017). My jaw kept dropping as I saw another Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenberg, or Ray & Charles Eames piece in Pop Art Design as well as other objects,...More

This is a little museum with grand ideas since change of director. Formerly, it featured talented relatively unknown artists. Currently it gets the exhibits that make the rounds throughout the United States. It is not innovative but gets consistent exhibits that you could see at...More

We have lived in Orange County for a long time and until I read a review of the American Modern Art on display I had no clue this gem existed. It is near the fashion island shopping mall across from the Island Hotel. Parking free...More

I visited this museum for the first time about a week ago. It is rather small so you can see all of the exhibits in an hour (or two if you really like to linger). The current exhibit (summer 2016) has a number of paintings...More

Marilyn Minter exhibit should not be missed. Cool building. Check out the trees out front. Strange entrance made me miss it twice, not sure why it is so difficult to outline an entrance. And, drive all the way in to the parking lot because the...More

We were excited to visit the museum as there seems to be a dearth of good art museums in Orange County and based on their website, this museum holds some nice works in their permanent collection. We were disappointed, though, when visiting in that little...More

I love art museums but there $10 admission charge with a lack of a permanent collection is sad. The building and grounds are underwhelming. If you have a limited amount of time, this is not worth your valuable time.
