Highly recommend this tour of the former presidential yacht. The docents are highly knowledgeable and the fellow tourists were all "into" the experience.

This used to be FDR’s vessel when he was president. Afterwards she fell into disrepair and sank. The have restored her to the time when she was at her best. Capt Tom and the crew could not have been friendlier.

We had a very knowledgeable guide who obviously enjoyed recounting the history behind the ship - and added a little bit of gossip to the story of Roosevelt's floating White House.

So fun! Can't believe it still runs. So much history on this yacht. Can catch it in Jack London Square and it takes rides to the Bay Bridge and back. Loved visiting this with my sons 4th grade class.

FDR's yacht sits in the Oakland Estuary waiting for you to take a two hour cruise on the bay or hire it for special occasions. It is not often when one can sit where a US President sat, or, admire the furnishings that he used....More

This was Franklin Roosevelts presidential yacht during WWII. It is restored and a good history lesson from a bygone era when threats like ISIS were taken seriously. You can take bay tours as well on certain days.
