Preservation Park was my daughter’s wedding venue. It is a quaint, quiet oasis in downtown Oakland. Beautifuly restored Victorian homes, lovely gardens and paths for walking. We saw moms with strollers one afternoon.

I pass through this small park several times a week and it always lifts my spirit. It's a collection of preserved historic houses that are now used for offices for non-profit organizations. Architecture, landscaping and fountain are lovely. Quiet oasis.
