Beautiful location, filled with deer, exotic birds, and other wildlife. Bring a camera. Places closes at dusk so make sure to come before then. Watch for nice sunsets.

The people who work at OAEC are the kindest, smartest, lovely people. They are activists healing our planet from the local to global. The center has great diversity in plants, native grasses, forest, even a pond that is perfect for swimming!

I attended two volunteer Wednesdays at the OAEC. So worth it. The OAEC is a working example of what an intentional community/permaculture garden should look like. Warm, friendly, helpful people, and super tasty vegetarian (mostly vegan) lunch.

These are plants you don't find in your local nursery. Dougo is there to help you choose if the names don't ring a bell.
