Stumbled upon this spot riding our bikes. Great path, lots of beauty and scenery with good scents along this trail (and lots of dogs being walked). The preserve is fairly flat but we connected with the Ojai Saddle Trails and ended up pushing our bikes...More

A friend told us about the meadowlands so we checked it out and took a nice walk. Very pastoral, calm and beautiful. Rabbits, butterflies and birds in addition to the wildflowers. Pretty nice!

We have visited all year round with our dog, but the best time is the spring when the wildflowers are in bloom and the baby rabbits and frogs are all out to play. Lots of friendly dogs and most are responsible with no trace of...More

Before going to dinner we decided to check this place out and do a short walk. Beautiful spring late afternoon so the weather was perfect to appreciate the little frog, birds, a few spring flowers, and the view around us.

Dear Gmlugo, I think perhaps you have confused the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy's Ojai Meadows Preserve with somewhere else in Ojai. There is no where to stay on this property. It is a restored wetlands and open space with trails to walk around. While there...More

This is a beautiful meadow and loop path through fields of wildflowers (in spring), old eucalyptus, and beside a vernal pond. You can see egrets and ducks. A special place. Bravo to the Ojai conservancy!
