long intermediate run, lots of fun usually well groomed just wish we could stop the boarders who go to fast and risk the safety of all

Folks go down this really really fast and reckless and others go really really slow and in terror. There are lots of lumps and bumps especially late in the day. If this is your first time, follow a local or ski guide down or stay with the pack. Unsure? Take the lifts down instead.

Is rated blue. It is truly an upper blue, has green segments but some challenging slopes as well. Most of the green slopes are on the bowl up the mountain, best place to train kids and beginners, so some of them might feel tempted to come to base camp on skis, resist the temptation and take air tram back. Not a great option for the beginners and others to be funneled into this thin trail- should try to mark some blue runs to get the better skiers away from the greener crowd- a bit tough for the green crowd with all the people coming down I think they should try to get a better trail

It's the connector from the top of Gold Coast lodge or from High Camp lodge, to the parking lot. it is a trail, wide in spots and more narrow as you go farther down. There are numerous ways to go down, as you pass the Siberia lift stay to the left trail, far less crowded. As you head near the... More

Check the snow reports before coming to Squaw Valley in January 2012. They only have manmade snow on Red Dog, Searchlight and Resort runs. Everything else is dry as a bone. When they do get snow, the Mountain Run is fantastic.
